Message why go with old technology when you could get bb turbos which are most efficient and less prone to coking and will last longer. gt2560s (gt28r) ftw.

with gt2560s and stock intercoolers, open downpipes, and msm's, you would have 350rwhp any day of the week any time of year. then, you still have room to throw in an improved exhaust setup and intercoolers for a quick easy kick.

i debated getting stock turbos for my swap. i had stock injectors, several stock turbo housings for cores, 4 bolt split downpipes, downpipes all ready for stock turbos. one thing holding me back then was garrett was not sourcing stock chras replacements. i could only chase down 1 in the US, down in NO, LA. this was before Z1 and others were selling chra's. so instead of getting new old school technology, i went with the gt2560's for their efficiency and price(and i knew i wanted more than 14 psi). then, i chased down some 5 bolt open quarterpipes and was good to go. this leaves me more time to upgrade bolt ons in the future without throwing away turbos (crosses fingers/knocks on wood). if i had gone with stock turbos and all the other bolt ons, then there would be no fun to be had.
